Dr. Brian Chang has been instrumental in my recovery from double mastectomy relating to breast cancer with his talent and enthusiasm for his craft as an excellent plastic surgeon. I felt confident to highly recommend him. If you are going through breast cancer and need a plastic surgeon here in Northern Virginia, DC, and MD. Dr. Chang is the best you can have in guiding you through the process and execution of your future reconstructive surgery. I am not a paid endorser, I am only sharing my experience.

I cannot recommend Dr. Brian Chang enough! As someone who was looking for a specialist who truly understands Asian aesthetics, I’m so glad I found him. His approach is subtle, artistic, and incredibly natural, exactly what I was hoping for. I’ve had both Botox and fillers done with him, and the results have been amazing every single time. He has a great eye for detail and really listens to what you want. No overdone or artificial look just a refreshed, more confident version of yourself. I don’t even know where to begin in describing this journey. It has been filled with challenges, setbacks, and ultimately hope. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 and underwent a mastectomy shortly afterward. Following my recovery, I received breast implants from another surgeon, but soon after, I started experiencing alarming symptoms: intense breast pain, fever, redness, and swelling. These were clear signs of infection.Despite reaching out multiple times to the original surgeon, I was repeatedly dismissed. My concerns were minimized, and no proper follow up was provided. As the pain became unbearable, I ended up in the emergency room, where I was told the infection was serious and the implants had to be removed immediately. The original surgeon was contacted to perform the removal, which took place in May 2022.After that traumatic experience, I allowed my body and mind time to heal. I waited over a year and a half before even considering reconstruction. When I finally felt ready, I was determined to find the right surgeon someone who would not only perform the procedure but treat me with the care and respect every patient deserves.That’s when I was referred to Dr. Brian Chang, and I cannot express how thankful I am to have found him.
